The806er
A local media platform built to keep West Texas informed, connected, and engaged. We partnered with The806er, a local media outlet covering news, interviews, community stories, weather, businesses, and everything happening across the region. This project required much more than a traditional news website. We built a dynamic media platform designed to handle constantly changing content while connecting readers with the people, businesses, and communities around them. The site features integrated interviews and articles, paid advertising opportunities, continuously updated weather and radar, and an interactive map highlighting local businesses with information pulled directly from Google Maps. We also developed API integrations with major local city resources, giving The806er another way to bring useful community information directly to its audience. For merchandise, we integrated the website with Shopify, allowing customers to shop and complete their purchases directly on The806er while inventory stays synchronized with their Shopify store. And we're not finished. An AI powered feature is currently in development, adding another layer of functionality to an already feature rich platform.
